I Am Pursued

There is much in this life that has deceived me. I have been tripped and fallen because of my selfishness. I have promoted sin and wounded others because of unholy appetites. These many sins and faults I bring to the foot of the cross. The blood of my Savior flows, and I am cleansed from every act and thought of sin. I have been cleansed wholly. I am righteous in the eyes of the Great Shepherd, and He has brought me into His flock. There I am learning the ways and comfort of His rod and staff. Even as one of His flock, I am prone to wander. I still find my way to mud and consume the poisonous weeds of lies. But my Shepherd pursues me, and brings me back to His care. Thank You Good and Precious Shepherd.
