Truth that Is Forever

Precious Lord, it is too easy, in the midst of challenge to forget or forsake the rock-solid truth of Your character. You do not change. That is truth.

It is also true that faith places me "in You"... I abide in You... this means circumstances and challenges can swirl around me, temptations can pull at me, but I am secure in You. I am covered in Your righteousness. I am protected under Your majestic wings. I am absolutely secure in the salvation purchased by Your blood.

So in this world I will have trouble and challenge, but my forever is assured in You.

- That truth gives me freedom to take a deep breath in challenge rather than the gasps of fear.

- That truth equips me to "see a future" and "know a hope" that cannot be sullied, torn, or shredded by the lies promoted by the darkness of this world.     

- That truth provides me with a perspective of grace, a devotion to compassion, a commitment to kindness that delights in the wonder of others.

- That TRUTH will one day lead me "home."
